As a blogger who runs a contest lovers group, I know all too well how much someone who has just won a prize wants to tell everyone about it! And rightfully so! When we win a prize we can't wait to try out the product/prize and we always share pictures and thoughts and feelings about what we won. We share it online, we share it on our socials and we tell everyone in our personal life about this fun and amazing thing we won! Result : FREE advertising.
2. If the Product/Prize is Amazing a New Customer is Gained.
I can't even count the amount of new products I have found after winning a prize. I have found new coffee brands that I now buy faithfully, new skin care products I repurchase over and over. Clothing brands that were so amazing I couldn't help but check out their website and buy more. Someone who wins a product they haven't tried often times falls in love with it and buys more! Result : NEW customer.
3. Social Media Exposure
When a contest lover wins a prize they head to their social media accounts and share pictures of their prize when it arrives, when they use it, and it can be seen in future pictures they may not even realise it's in. Pictures are the ultimate way to have your product seen by accounts that are probably not even aware of your brands accounts and products. This opens up your business to a ton more eyes and curious shoppers. There are so many social media platforms you would be amazed where the pictures of your product will make it. Someone who wins a prize but isn't really into contests and giveaways will be happy but not be overjoyed at winning.
